Charlene Markus is a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Massage therapist. She started her education in 2010 in the massage therapy program at CDI and graduated the first year with honors. With the goal of becoming an Acupuncturist, she soon entered the acupuncture program at Reeves College in 2012 and graduated in 2014. Upon graduation and registration with the CAAA, Charlene practiced as an Acupuncturist for approximately 2 years before returning to school. She aspired to become dual licensed and finished her second year of massage therapy at MH Vicars in June 2018 in order to broaden her scope of practice. Charlene has a unique approach to acupuncture as she is able to blend her knowledge of both Eastern/Traditional Chinese Medicine and western perspective as well as integrate her knowledge and skills from both disciplines to effectively reduce and manage various health conditions. She has a passion for treating musculoskeletal pain, injuries, headaches, migraines, insomnia, stress, menopause symptoms, eczema, skin rashes, digestive disorders and so much more! Charlene is a proud mother of 2 handsome little boys and enjoys every single moment of family time!
